Privacy, in plain words

The free record and the check need no account and collect no personal information. The paid kit and the watch need a payment, and a payment needs a processor. This page says exactly where each thing lives.

The free site

The pages are static HTML served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard request logs, including IP address, user agent and the requested path, for security and operations. We do not add an analytics script, a tracking pixel, a session recorder or a third-party font. There is no cookie set by this site.

The free check

The check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are read by a script on the page, matched against a JSON file that lists the rules, and rendered as a result. Nothing is posted to a server, written to a cookie or stored in a database. If you reload the page, the answers are gone. The page says so, and there is no hidden submit.

Payment and the kit

The buy button goes to Stripe Checkout. Stripe collects the payment details, your email address and, if you provide them, your billing address. We never see or store your card number. Stripe returns a session id to the download page, and the download endpoint asks Stripe whether that session is paid before serving a file. The email address on the receipt is used to send the download link and, if you bought the watch, the change notifications.

The watch

The watch email goes to the address on your Stripe receipt. We do not add it to a marketing list or share it. Every watch email carries a cancellation route through Stripe. Cancelling stops the next charge; the record of the subscription stays in Stripe for accounting.

No other processor receives personal information from this product. There is no product database and no account system. The check answers never reach any of these processors.

Your choices

You can use the whole free site without giving an email address. You can ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion of the watch address and the associated email history. Email support@theartofservice.com. We may need to keep invoice records where tax law requires it.

Children and sensitive data

The product is for organisations and their advisers. It is not directed at children. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into the check; there is no field for it and no need.
